Gucci X The North Face Makes For A Hot Winter

Let's face it. A lot of The North Face lure was developed by hip hop artists sporting the brand back in the day in videos. Vivid oranges, banana yellows, and, of course, that big logo blazing.  Now the brand is taking it to a new pop culture level by collaborating with (wait for it) Gucci.

Perhaps taking a cue from the super fab collabos that Moncler rolls out from time to time (Moncler X Valentino, anyone!?), The North Face has come out guns blazing with Gucci with crazy fat logos, bold prints, and, of course, outdoor protection for days.

Indeed, Alessandro Michele recently told British Vogue, "We are a big brand, so we have a responsibility to take care of our industry,” Michele explained of the house shift towards “fashion that has a longer life”. This Gucci scenario might go down as best so far in the company's recent fashion mashups with such brands as  Junya Watanabe, Supreme and Maison Margiela.

So even if you might not be leaving your house all that much these days or if you are one of those who test and fly COVID-19 negative to travel, you still look amazing when you do with one of these.  Only one thing we would have liked to see? Some donation provision to either build back the trees destroyed in the huge California fires or for clothes for those not able to afford them due to economic struggles from COVID-19.  Here's hoping for next collabo. In the meantime, peep the below...
